Leads Nissan Canada’s marketing communications strategy, including national advertising, media planning, partnerships, sponsorships, events, vehicle launches, brand positioning, agency management, budgets, market research, reporting, and visual identity initiatives. Manages and develops a marketing team of eight, including three direct reports, while coordinating with executives, dealers, regional teams, agencies, finance, and global Nissan stakeholders. Oversees campaign performance, budget compliance, and communications programs supporting sales and brand objectives.

Leads multi-regional vehicle sales incentive planning, budgeting, forecasting, market analysis, and program execution. Manages incentive communications, accruals, system uploads, competitive intelligence, reporting, and lifecycle initiatives. Partners with Marketing, Finance, Sales Operations, and senior management to optimize sales growth, market share, budget utilization, retailer satisfaction, and corporate objectives.

Leads technology delivery for Nissan Canada Finance and NMAC lending systems. Manages product intake, prioritization, roadmaps, budgets, vendors, contracts, staff, and cross-functional initiatives. Ensures applications meet enterprise architecture, availability, cybersecurity, and technology standards while supporting cloud migration and continuous improvement. Oversees internal, contractor, offshore, and outsourced delivery teams, including coaching, performance management, hiring, and succession planning.

Manages Canadian indirect tax compliance, including sales, excise, tire, and environmental levy returns; reviews reconciliations and tax journal entries; leads CRA and provincial audits; researches tax legislation; maintains ERP tax configurations; identifies recovery opportunities; supports audit and compliance activities; and coaches tax team members.

Manages automotive compliance, recalls, service campaigns, port modifications, and government investigations. Coordinates with Transport Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada, engineering teams, vendors, dealers, and internal departments to address vehicle safety and emissions requirements. Oversees technical publications, electronic service manuals, the ASIST technical resource tool, dealer essential tools, budgets, invoicing, and regulatory reporting. Requires an automotive engineering or equivalent technical background, dealer service knowledge, regulatory expertise, supervisory experience, and 7–10 years of related experience.

Support Nissan Canada pricing strategy by maintaining MSRP/interest/residual comparisons, analyzing pricing trends, recommending incentives, preparing monthly reports and executive presentations, building Power BI dashboards, coordinating residual value requests with ALG, and conducting ad-hoc analyses using automotive data sources and AI-enabled tools.
