As a Principal Software Engineer, you will lead the architectural evolution of identity systems, manage IAM services, and collaborate across teams to ensure secure, scalable applications at Kaseya.

The Senior Staff Engineer at Kaseya is responsible for architecting scalable Java applications, optimizing AWS cloud solutions, and providing technical leadership and mentorship while solving complex problems in a collaborative team environment.

Provide technical leadership and architecture direction for enterprise SaaS platforms and distributed systems. Lead cross-team initiatives, drive scalability, reliability, security, observability, and platform modernization. Influence technical strategy, run architecture and design reviews, reduce technical debt, and mentor senior engineering staff.

The Staff Software Engineer will design large-scale systems, drive AI adoption, influence technical strategy, mentor teams, and improve system reliability and efficiency.

Lead design and evolution of scalable systems, influence technical direction, guide AI-assisted development, and provide mentorship to engineers while driving improvements in observability and system reliability.

Lead architecture and development of a centralized IAM platform: design authentication/authorization, governance, RBAC/ABAC, multi-tenant support, APIs and integrations, drive platform adoption, ensure security and compliance, and mentor engineers.

Design, build, and scale IAM platform services and APIs for authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle, access governance, and compliance. Integrate identity providers and authorization systems, improve scalability and observability, design machine and service authentication, participate in architecture reviews, and mentor engineers.

Design, build, and operate large-scale real-time and batch data pipelines. Improve data quality, reliability, observability, and performance. Partner with product and analytics teams, lead architecture decisions, and support production incidents and optimization.

Architect and implement multi-tenant, cloud-native networking and security solutions (NGFW, SASE) across public, private, and hybrid clouds. Optimize traffic steering, policy orchestration, telemetry, analytics, egress/gateway costs, and performance. Build high-performance data-plane components and cloud automation, write and review code, and guide teams to deliver production systems.

The Senior Backend Engineer will design and build scalable backend systems for SaaS products, integrate ML/AI capabilities, and lead technical direction across product areas.
