The Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Staff Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and building and supporting secure, multitenant, fault-tolerant systems at scale. You’ll play a critical role in shaping multitenant architecture, writing high-quality code using latest AI development tools and delivering robust, high-performance applications that power our platform.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage your expertise in Java, AWS, microservices, databases and expert usage of modern AI development tools to build robust solutions that drive our success. Your ability to balance deep technical knowledge, technical leadership skills with a collaborative mindset will be essential in shaping the future of our engineering landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect & Develop: Implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Java applications with a strong focus on microservices using latest AI development tools
  • Cloud Solutions: Build and optimize cloud-based applications leveraging AWS services, including ECS, EC2, SQS, DynamoDB, and RDS (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, DevOps engineers, and key stakeholders to define system requirements and deliver impactful software solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead architectural decisions and advocate for best practices while remaining hands-on in Java development.
  • Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring system efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Guide and support less experienced developers, fostering best practices and continuous learning within the team.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive Java Expertise: 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, including J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate
  • Cloud Proficiency: Strong experience with AWS services such as ECS, EC2, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, RDS and Infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Database Expertise: Solid understanding of SQL and NOSQL databases with experience in database design, scaling, and optimization.
  • Microservices Architecture: Proven experience designing and developing microservices using Spring Boot, Docker,
  • Cloud-Native Development: Hands-on experience building and deploying applications in AWS environments.
  • DevOps & CI/CD Knowledge: Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting solutions, including tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, to proactively manage system performance and reliability.
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's in computer science (or equivalent) with 10+ years of related experience; or Master's with 8+ years of related experience

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience with Agentic AI and MCP, along with a deep, solid grasp of core AI principles and fundamentals.
  • Strong Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business and technical success.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A keen analytical thinker with the ability to debug, optimize, and enhance complex applications.
