Leads CFC’s Canadian legal and compliance function, advising on insurance regulation, licensing, corporate, commercial, privacy, employment, and operational matters. Oversees licensing frameworks, regulatory engagement, compliance controls, contracts, legal templates, and stakeholder guidance. Supports M&A, portfolio acquisitions, cross-border initiatives, and disputes while managing legal and regulatory teams and advising senior and Board-level stakeholders.

Handle cyber and technology insurance claims from first notification through settlement, including coverage analysis, reserving, litigation deadlines, third-party recoveries, vendor coordination, and claims administration. Build relationships with policyholders and brokers, collaborate with response vendors and internal teams, provide claims trend feedback, support product development, and escalate issues when necessary.

Manage property and casualty claims from first notice to resolution, liaise with brokers, policyholders and external vendors, reserve claims accurately, support payments, track deadlines, produce claims MI, and share insight with underwriting and product teams to improve wording and reduce leakage.

Lead Canada-based underwriting for Professions E&O: underwrite new and renewal business, develop retail and middle-market relationships, act as onshore technical referral, drive broker engagement and business development, inform product and distribution strategy, represent CFC at industry events, and provide local market insight to support profitable growth.

Lead and scale CFCs Canadian operations: build processes, controls and teams; support underwriting; ensure regulatory compliance; set up Toronto office; manage vendors; use MI and KPIs to drive performance; partner with global teams and build a high-performing operations function.
