Senior signaling systems engineer responsible for CBTC/urban rail signaling design, simulations, application database development, interlocking/control tables, performance analysis, requirements/specification creation, bid support, and mentoring junior engineers while ensuring safety and standards compliance.

Lead and execute safety engineering activities for urban rail signaling projects. Conduct hazard identification and safety analyses, define and verify safety requirements, review safety evidence and produce Safety Case artifacts, and promote safety best practices within integrated project teams while coordinating with RAMS management and the Chief Safety Architect.

Produce detailed requirements, technical design specs, SoWs and RFQs. Use CAD tools to create designs, prepare BOMs, follow CENELEC/AREMA standards, and support trackside and equipment-room deployments. Manage small design teams, project schedules and budgets, and follow Hitachi processes and change control.

Lead RAM engineering for CBTC systems: perform RAM design, analyses, modeling and simulation; conduct FMECA/FTA, MTBF and spare analyses; produce RAM program plans; review hardware designs and maintenance documentation; recommend design changes and spares; support FRACAS and life-cycle cost analysis; represent RAM in technical reviews.

Eight-month paid software analyst internship contributing to R&T projects for urban rail signaling: develop and test software, analyze lab/field results, work with sensors and real-time systems, implement ML/LLM and agentic workflow solutions, and support prototype and proof-of-concept development in a hybrid team environment.
