The role also involves distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, container orchestration, experimentation, analytics, and potentially open-source contributions.

Build and modernize scalable enterprise data platform services, including AI-assisted automation, self-service workflows, and Apache Iceberg adoption. Develop Python and AWS platform tooling, improve reliability, support incident response, troubleshoot distributed data systems, and perform root-cause analysis. Partner with globally distributed engineering teams to improve data producer and consumer experiences, operational stability, and developer productivity.
