The Senior Major Account Executive will drive sales in the Canadian telecom sector, focusing on new business and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.

Design, build, and maintain pixel-perfect front-end web applications and shared component libraries. Translate visual designs into functional UIs, ensure cross-browser/platform compatibility, contribute across the project lifecycle, and apply testing and CI practices to deliver high-quality user experiences at scale.

Validate performance, reliability, and security; develop test suites for kernel enhancements and VM software; debug low-level system issues; enhance CI/build automation; provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.

Analyze in-app behavioral data and customer journeys to inform product decisions. Build dashboards, define event taxonomies, ensure instrumentation and data quality, analyze funnels/retention, and partner with product and design to improve cloud platform experience.

Sell Akamai solutions to new major accounts in Canada, build C-level relationships, develop strategic sales plans, manage channel/reseller partnerships, drive high-volume pipeline, and negotiate contracts to ensure customer adoption and satisfaction.

Serve as a dedicated technical advisor for enterprise customers using Akamai cloud compute solutions. Drive adoption, retention, and cloud consumption growth by developing success plans, advising on workload placement, performance optimization, and AI inferencing use cases. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues, run business reviews, and manage customer success metrics (retention, NPS, cloud consumption).
