As a GPU Software Engineer at Waymo, you will collaborate with application teams to optimize algorithms for GPU utilization. This includes building high-performance abstractions, improving compiler optimizations, and analyzing GPU performance. You will also co-design future hardware features.

In this role, you will lead a team of Product Data Scientists, guiding them to analyze complex operational and commercial data aimed at improving performance as Waymo scales its autonomous vehicle business. You'll work closely with senior management and other teams to align on strategic goals and resource allocation.

The Motion Systems Engineer will manage requirements for braking, steering, and propulsion of motion control actuators, lead architecture discussions, contribute to hardware and software design reviews, and coordinate motion control actuator integration. They will investigate issues and validate actuators for driver-less operation through testing and analyses.
