Lead and grow a full-stack engineering team building Mural’s AI-native Compose product. Own end-to-end delivery, architecture, code quality, reliability, experimentation, and roadmap execution in partnership with Product and Design. Hire, coach, and manage engineers while maintaining a hands-on technical role through code reviews and architecture decisions. Guide production LLM feature development, including evaluation, quality monitoring, and cost management, within a remote-first culture.

Designs, builds, and improves Mural’s Canvas platform, including real-time collaboration, shared document editing, spatial interactions, rendering performance, asset management, APIs, and AI-enabled capabilities. Owns initiatives from problem definition through measurement, designs scalable and reliable systems, optimizes performance, and contributes to technical reviews, mentoring, documentation, and engineering practices. Partners with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver maintainable, high-quality editor experiences.

Build customer-facing growth and engagement features across acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization. Design and analyze experiments using feature flags and A/B testing, develop instrumentation and event pipelines, improve performance and scalability, and contribute to architecture and technical strategy. Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Marketing, and Customer Success while mentoring engineers and promoting reliable, high-quality engineering practices.

Lead growth product design across discovery, activation, monetization, onboarding, pricing, upgrade, and lifecycle experiences. Use behavioral data and experimentation to improve funnels while protecting user trust and product quality. This hands-on manager role includes designing polished end-to-end experiences, partnering with product, engineering, research, and data science, establishing reusable growth patterns, leading workshops, and managing or mentoring one to three designers.

Build and maintain Mural’s integration platform, including two-way sync with systems such as Jira, Linear, and Asana; Microsoft, conferencing, notification, and content integrations; public APIs; file handling; and format conversion. Lead projects end to end, design scalable and secure systems, manage third-party API concerns, create testing and documentation strategies, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams on technical boundaries and platform capabilities.
