Provide administrative and paralegal support to lawyers handling commercial insurance coverage and civil litigation: manage calendars and deadlines; prepare pleadings, motion records and court documents; transcribe dictation; file on Ontario portal; maintain client and case files; assist with billing/time entries, discovery scheduling, invoicing and travel arrangements; perform conflict searches and other general office tasks.

Provide litigation and coverage advice in specialty insurance, professional negligence, construction and related areas. Manage files from assessment through pleadings, discovery, motions, mediation, pre-trial and trial. Draft correspondence and court filings, attend discoveries, argue motions, and appear at hearings. Develop client relationships, work with partners, and support practice management and business development activities.
