Supports lawyers and partners in commercial insurance coverage and civil litigation. Responsibilities include managing calendars and deadlines, preparing and proofreading pleadings and court documents, organizing case files and motion records, handling correspondence, coordinating meetings and examinations for discovery, assisting with billing and conflict searches, and performing general administrative duties. The role requires strong knowledge of Ontario civil procedure, legal filing systems, Microsoft Office, Caselines, dictation, and litigation support.

Provide litigation and coverage advice in specialty insurance, professional negligence, construction and related areas. Manage files from assessment through pleadings, discovery, motions, mediation, pre-trial and trial. Draft correspondence and court filings, attend discoveries, argue motions, and appear at hearings. Develop client relationships, work with partners, and support practice management and business development activities.
