Lead and execute the global indirect tax program for a growing SaaS company, overseeing compliance, audits, tax technology (Avalara/ERP), tax guidance for products and expansions, process improvements, and day-to-day supervision of an Indirect Tax Analyst. Partner cross-functionally and with external advisors to manage filings, respond to audits, and apply practical tax recommendations supporting business objectives.

Lead design and implementation of foundational platform components (authentication, API gateways, interservice communication, caching, shared libraries). Mentor engineers, drive cross-team alignment on architecture, own features end-to-end, improve developer experience, and ensure high availability, performance, and security while shipping frequently and modernizing core systems.

Lead day-to-day Deal Desk execution and complex deal support for new business, expansions, and renewals. Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance to structure pricing, approvals, and contracts. Drive process optimization, automation, pricing frameworks, discount governance, reporting, and team mentoring to accelerate deal velocity, protect margins, and scale deal desk operations.

Research, develop, and deploy ML/AI solutions that power product features. Collaborate with product, engineering, and client teams to analyze data, build models, operationalize MLOps workflows, and generate insights to improve customer and product outcomes.

Provide Tier 2 technical support to external clients: diagnose and reproduce bugs, manage software migrations/integrations (HRIS, SSO, SFTP), troubleshoot with internal teams, handle support queues (JIRA), meet SLAs, and communicate with stakeholders to resolve issues.

Lead promotional strategy, plan and execute campaigns for a closed points-based marketplace. Coordinate vendors, enable customers, segment audiences, analyze performance, and optimize promotions to drive engagement, conversions, vendor participation, and revenue. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Vendor Relations, and Customer Success to improve tools and campaign effectiveness.
