Design, build, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions, including large language models, for balance sheet and liquidity risk management. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to develop scalable solutions using modern tools and infrastructure. Contribute to transformational projects, explore improved technologies and processes, and participate actively in the RBC development community.

The intern will experiment with large language models, apply prompt engineering, create Python scripts, support AI adoption as a change champion, and communicate with risk subject matter experts. This is a four-month Winter 2027 student placement based in Ontario, with flexible virtual, hybrid, or in-office arrangements.

Support the Process Risk COE and Strategic Execution team through research, analysis, proposal and presentation development, project assistance, meeting coordination, and stakeholder communication. The intern will contribute to process risk and strategic execution initiatives, document action items, collaborate on project goals, and develop business, analytical, organizational, and communication skills in a banking environment.

Prepare Canadian and international tax returns, including trust, personal, and estate returns. Support financial analysis, tax data organization, audit documentation, FATCA/CRS compliance, and tax regulation research. Provide administrative and communication support while meeting filing deadlines and client expectations. The role requires strong Excel skills, accuracy, organization, collaboration, and enrollment in an accounting, finance, or business administration degree program.

Strong communication, computer literacy, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, effective listening, and quick learning are required. This is a four-month Winter 2027 student/co-op placement based in Ontario.

Analyze, design, and deliver reporting solutions using Tableau, databases, Python, and other analytics tools. Build and enhance dashboards, reconcile and validate data, support AI and prompt-engineering initiatives, and apply data-warehouse methodologies. The intern will perform complex analysis on large datasets, communicate findings to stakeholders, and contribute to a collaborative development community.

Supports digital strategy and communications projects through research, executive presentations, content creation, training materials, intranet updates, communications, and administrative coordination. Collaborates with cross-functional partners and subject matter experts to develop accurate, visually compelling materials aligned with brand guidelines. The role requires strong organization, communication, multitasking, and familiarity with Microsoft Office in a fast-paced wealth management environment.

Supports business and data analysis initiatives across insurance, including process improvement, licensing records, Salesforce data cleanup, data classification, release planning, UAT, compliance controls, and business needs analysis. Collaborates with IT, operations, product development, and distribution teams to improve applications and deliver data-driven solutions. Documents processes, maintains procedures, analyzes data, and supports risk and regulatory requirements.
