Builds scalable governance and high-performing, customer-centric vendor organizations across global markets.

Leads the Infra Foundations engineering team, setting its roadmap, mentoring engineers, and maintaining reliable AWS foundations. Owns account provisioning, networking, IAM, infrastructure-as-code automation, GitOps workflows, quota management, patching, configuration management, incident response, and security collaboration. Establishes operational standards, drives self-service tooling adoption, and ensures infrastructure frameworks are safe, consistent, and dependable across teams.

Build and ship full-stack web and mobile experiences across Affirm’s consumer products. Responsibilities include breaking projects into tasks, collaborating with product, design, and analytics teams, developing scalable APIs, writing tested and extensible code, monitoring service metrics, supporting on-call operations, debugging, conducting code reviews, and participating in team development and interviews.

Conduct third-party security assessments, evaluate vendor controls, document risk findings, automate GRC workflows with Python and agentic coding tools, maintain integrations across ticketing and risk platforms, and develop dashboards and reporting. Partner with Procurement, Legal, Engineering, IT, Compliance, and Privacy to support risk-informed decisions and mature security governance processes.

Leads Affirm’s Resilience Engineering team, defining strategy and managing engineers who build platforms for safe production load testing and chaos engineering. Owns fault-injection and experimentation systems, safeguards, observability, rollback mechanisms, monitoring, and incident response practices. Partners cross-functionally to identify systemic weaknesses, improve reliability, and embed resilience validation into engineering workflows. Requires leadership experience in reliability, infrastructure, or distributed systems and hands-on expertise with production testing, chaos engineering, cloud-native environments, and distributed-system failure modes.

Supports application security across product and engineering teams by reviewing code, configurations, designs, vulnerabilities, and pull requests. Helps triage and prioritize security findings, provides remediation guidance, develops scripts and automation, and promotes secure coding practices. The role communicates risk to technical and non-technical stakeholders, collaborates cross-functionally, and develops offensive, defensive, and software engineering skills.
