Build and launch full-stack customer-facing features and backend services for Affirm Card. Collaborate with product, design, analytics, and engineering teams; design scalable APIs, support distributed systems, monitor service reliability, participate in on-call operations, review code, and contribute to technical planning and team development.

Build and operate scalable AI platform infrastructure, including LLM and MCP gateways, agent runtimes, evaluation services, routing, quotas, observability, and security controls. Own projects from design through launch and on-call, establish technical standards, collaborate with security and infrastructure teams, and mentor engineers. Develop highly available distributed backend systems supporting AI workloads across Affirm’s financial products and engineering organization.

Architect and operate Affirm’s large-scale Amazon EKS platform, including cluster lifecycle, node management, autoscaling, workload safety standards, infrastructure as code, GitOps delivery, observability, cost and capacity optimization, and self-healing automation. The role leads technical direction, partners cross-functionally, mentors engineers, and participates in on-call incident response.

Leads Affirm’s global security incident response and investigations program. Responsibilities include serving as incident commander, directing technical investigations, managing and developing response engineers, establishing readiness practices, improving detection and response tooling, implementing AI-assisted investigation workflows, and translating incident metrics into executive and board-level reporting.
