Create CAD models, drawings, interface definitions, and release packages; perform structural, thermal, vibration, tolerance, and fit-up analyses; and drive packaging, manufacturability, assembly, supplier coordination, and cross-functional integration with propulsion, fluids, avionics, structures, manufacturing, and test teams.

Own propulsion component development from requirements and first-principles design through detailed engineering, manufacturing, component testing, and flight qualification. Design valves, regulators, igniters, piping, flex lines, TVC actuators, thrusters, and related hardware. The role requires deep liquid bipropellant rocket engine experience, fluid and propulsion system analysis, component and plumbing design, hazardous operations leadership, test campaign experience, and stakeholder and proposal engagement.

Leads the structural engineering organization for an orbital launch vehicle, owning strategy, design authority, analysis, materials, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and delivery of primary structures including tanks, thrust structures, interstages, and fairings. Builds and mentors the structures, thermal, and mechanical engineering team while driving cross-functional integration, design-for-manufacture, structural verification, test correlation, and mass, robustness, cost, and schedule trade-offs.
