Underwrite and manage a portfolio of Financial Lines (D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime), analyze financials and claims, negotiate complex placements, steward broker relationships, guide junior underwriters, collaborate with claims/actuarial/legal, and ensure governance, compliance, and profitable portfolio growth.

Manage the full lifecycle of Equipment Breakdown claims: investigate losses, perform technical inspections, prepare reports, coordinate external experts, liaise with brokers/insurers, and support risk control and policy interpretation to resolve claims and advise stakeholders.

Lead commercial P&C pricing and predictive analytics efforts: maintain and enhance SAS-based pricing tools, collaborate with Data Science and underwriting to develop and validate models, deliver data-driven pricing recommendations, support small business pricing, mentor junior analysts, and drive process improvements and automation.

Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and analytical datasets using Snowflake and Qlik. Own end-to-end delivery from requirements to support, implement data modeling and performance/cost optimizations, automate ingestion and transformations, monitor and troubleshoot pipelines and reports, and collaborate with claims, analytics, and actuarial teams to translate business needs into robust data solutions while supporting migration and modernization efforts.

Designs, maintains, and improves Aviva Canada's Third-Party Risk Management program. Updates policies, ensures regulatory alignment, tracks/advises on compliance, defines KRIs, builds dashboards, aggregates data, and reports program effectiveness to leadership while coordinating governance and supporting strategic projects.

Lead Aviva Canada's government and regulatory engagement: translate political and regulatory developments into business insights, proactively influence policy, coordinate advocacy with executives and external partners, represent Aviva on trade bodies and committees, assess emerging issues, and support the SVP. Drive thought leadership, manage stakeholder relationships, ensure risk controls, and identify opportunities to simplify and digitize processes.
