Supports FP&A monthly close, forecasting, annual planning, data consolidation, variance analysis, financial modeling, ad hoc analysis, and reporting. Collaborates with cross-functional teams while managing competing priorities and deliverables. Support product designers through prototyping, design iteration, critiques, stakeholder presentations, accessibility refinement, and design-system contributions. Create low- to high-fidelity Figma designs for digital products, including e-Transfer experiences, while applying design thinking and responsive design principles. Collaborate with UX researchers and cross-functional partners, and assist with user research, testing, and Agile design activities.

Supports technology delivery by gathering and documenting business and technical requirements, facilitating Agile workshops and meetings, mapping processes, developing user stories and acceptance criteria, maintaining Jira boards and project plans, and tracking priorities, risks, dependencies, and progress. Develop proof-of-concept architecture solutions, automation, and Confluence add-ons; update standards and patterns; analyze architecture processes; build reports; interview stakeholders; and support agile delivery of technology and platform enhancements.

Supports cloud-native application development and deployment, CI/CD integration, automated functional, regression, and integration testing, monitoring, alerting, observability, incident response, and root cause analysis. Collaborates with developers, QA, and AppOps/SRE engineers in an agile environment while gaining experience across the software development lifecycle and operational support.

Supports AWS and Azure cloud operations through infrastructure monitoring, incident investigation, log analysis, deployment validation, automation, Terraform-based infrastructure as code, CI/CD initiatives, security compliance, cloud migrations, and FinOps reporting. Supports Interac’s Money Movement product team with product research, roadmap development, requirements definition, release process evaluation, stakeholder collaboration, market research, user feedback analysis, documentation, and data visualization. The intern helps identify product opportunities and contribute to e-Transfer strategy across retail, commerce, and business markets.

Supports Interac’s Innovation Practice by designing and delivering innovation events, co-creation workshops, crowdsourcing initiatives, and company-wide kick-offs. The intern researches and analyzes data, develops benchmarks, contributes to proof-of-concept proposals, and communicates complex ideas through presentations and storytelling. Success requires creativity, design-thinking knowledge, organization, problem-solving, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple event-related priorities.

Supports corporate application standardization, Jira configuration, documentation, workflow automation, and integrations with Planview, AgilePlace, and ServiceNow. Coordinates meetings, tracks action items and deadlines, maintains project documentation, tests configurations, monitors integrated tools, and supports agile ceremonies, user training, and cross-functional collaboration.

Supports strategic initiatives through market and competitive research, opportunity sizing, business case development, data analysis, performance tracking, and preparation of leadership materials. The intern translates complex information into concise recommendations and visuals, researches emerging trends, and collaborates with cross-functional teams on strategic projects within the financial services industry.
