Set up, program, install, troubleshoot and commission single and multi-robot cells (primarily Fanuc). Manages projects from concept through launch, conducts manpower and line-balancing studies, develops CAD layouts and documentation, supports quoting and customer changes, and uses PLC programming to optimize automated equipment. Requires collaboration across departments, quality problem-solving, and adherence to safety and automotive quality standards.

The Quality Engineer supports production quality, new program launches, customer and supplier PPAP, APQP, control plans, PFMEA, product validation, audits, and warranty issue resolution. Generates and updates measurement programs, interprets blueprints and GD&T, prepares measurement reports, performs correlation and capability studies, validates tooling, supports fixture design reviews, and addresses quality nonconformities while following safety, ISO, and continuous-improvement procedures.

Develop and validate automotive stamping die processes, focusing on formability, springback, dimensional accuracy, cosmetic quality, and process improvement. Conduct FEA and Sigma analyses, review engineering and buyoff documentation, lead corrective actions and correlation initiatives, investigate root causes, and support feasibility studies, tooling reviews, CAD deliverables, and customer or supplier communications.
