Purpose of the Job: 

The Senior Manager, Technical Program Management reports to the Director, Technical Program Management. The SR PM will own end-to-end plan management for complex technical solutions across EQ Bank’s Digital Banking ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on delivering measurable value and exceptional experiences for customers. They will lead delivery execution in accordance with company policies and ensure compliance with Enterprise Change Management Processes, always grounding decisions in customer needs, and the impact on customer journeys. Technical Program Management at EQ Bank focuses on delivery excellence by proactively surfacing technical risks and establishing mitigation plans, identifying and managing dependencies, driving and aligning decisions, and enabling strong execution across engineering, product, and internal/external partners. The SR PM is expected to build and leverage strong cross-functional relationships and influence without authority to deliver outcomes that support business objectives while enhancing the reliability, usability, and overall satisfaction of customer-facing products and services.  

The Work!

    • Establish detailed, outcome-focused, execution plans to support roadmaps and drive alignment across interdependent teams.  

    • Drive and own delivery of execution plans and maintain a single source of truth to provide transparency to all stakeholders – including executives.  

    • Proactively identify and manage technical and non-technical dependencies across teams. This includes but is not limited to managing negotiations with Director level + Stakeholders to acquire support for priorities.  

    • Proactively identify and mitigate technical and non-technical risks to enable success of commitments  

    • Support the evolution of annual and quarterly planning.  

    • Contribute to the growth of the Technical Program Management Practice by developing and evolving processes to support continuous improvement and act as an example for the rest of the PMO.  

Your Experience!

    • 5-10 years of experience with end-to-end management of programs throughout the entire life cycle (PDLC or SDLC). 
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes that support business objectives.  

    • Strong business and technical acumen; ability to navigate and manage complex dependencies and uncertainty across systems, processes, and stakeholders.  

    • Expert collaboration, relationship-building, and executive communication skills, including influencing and facilitation across all levels and functions.  

    • Advanced analytical thinking, problem solving, process orientation, and ability to translate ambiguity into action through structured operating rhythms.  

    • Expert verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influencing and group facilitation.  

    • Experience in the regulated Financial Services or Insurance industry (including internal and external compliance requirements, financial reporting, and service administration) is preferred.
