Overview

The Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving new business growth and revenue expansion within TripleLift's Canadian sales organization, directly influencing how we bring programmatic advertising solutions—across Native, CTV, and Audience products—to agencies and brands in the market. In this position, you will partner closely with Sales leadership, Account Management, Ad Operations, and Partnerships teams to shape client strategies, preferred partnership frameworks, and RFP responses, ensuring seamless execution from prospecting through deal close.

Responsibilities
  • Drive new business development by prospecting, pitching, and closing programmatic advertising deals with agencies and brands across the Canadian market 
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities, accurately forecasting revenue and tracking progress against quarterly and annual sales targets 
  • Develop and negotiate preferred partnership agreements and RFP responses in collaboration with Sales leadership, Legal, and Finance 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key agency and client relationships, ensuring strong communication and long-term account growth 
  • Partner cross-functionally with Ad Operations, Account Management, and Partnerships teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction
  • Represent TripleLift at industry events, client meetings, and conferences to build brand presence and generate new business leads
Education & Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of sales experience in programmatic advertising, ad tech, or digital media (SSP/DSP experience strongly preferred) 
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with strong pipeline management and forecasting skills 
  • Deep familiarity with programmatic terminology and ecosystem (RTB, PMPs, deal IDs, open exchange, CTV, native advertising) 
  • Established relationships with Canadian agencies and/or brands strongly preferred 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust with senior stakeholders 
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving market
