About This Opportunity

This is a foundational role supporting the growth of Samyang Canada, playing a key part in expanding our presence in the Canadian market. While this position is posted on the Samyang America careers page, the selected candidate will be employed by the Canadian entity and subject to applicable Canadian employment laws and benefits.

Location & Work Model

This position is based in our Toronto office with a hybrid work model. 

Position Summary: 

Join Samyang Canada and guide the digital prominence of influential brands like Buldak, Tangle, and MEP. Numerator recently named Buldak Ramen as the top brand among Generation Alpha – now you can build on that momentum!

 The Sales Manager, eCommerce and Omni Channel will serve as Samyang Canada’s lead for all aspects of brand and product growth via eCommerce and Omni Channel. This role enables mass scale via distribution while maintaining focus on brand building account wins. The Sales Manager will ensure alignment between Sales, EC Marketing, HQ, and Global teams by building the tools, processes, insights, and activation frameworks required for strong commercial performance. The ideal candidate brings a blend of analytical strength, strategic thinking, and executional excellence, with the ability to influence across functions and geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all EC and Omni Channel initiatives

  • Build and manage Samyang Canada’s eComm playbook ensuring cross‑functional adoption and alignment.

  • Develop digital marketing and in‑store activation strategies tailored to Canadian retailers.

  • Own all sales enablement tools, including sales assets, innovation stories, pricing guidelines, and customer‑specific narratives.

  • Track and interpret market data, category performance, shopper insights, and competitive intelligence to guide decision‑making.

  • Act as the connective tissue between Samyang eComm departments in Canada, USA, and Global, ensuring alignment, and shared learnings.

  • Develop data-informed eComm strategies for all channels and formats

  • Produce and/or commission necessary assets and campaigns

  • Lead digital audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to raise execution standards.

Requirements:

  • 6–10+ years of experience in CPG/FMCG eCommerce, trade marketing, shopper marketing, sales strategy, or sales operations.

  • Pureplay and brick and mortar experience

  • Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.

  • Experience working with cross‑border teams or global headquarters.

  • Skilled at influencing without direct authority across multiple functions.

  • Strong understanding of the CPG and eCommerce landscapes, in Canada

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Neilsen IQ (or comparable insight provider), and relevant digital tools

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Samyang brands or similar ethnic food brands strongly preferred.

  • Experience working for an international brand focused on scaling through the Americas

  • Strong commercial intuition with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.

  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

  • Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities at once.
