What's exciting about the role

Manage a portfolio of accounts and Verifone Authorize Service Contractors in your region who sell, utilize and provide service to our products and solutions as well as prospect for new customers to achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

Skills and Experience we desire

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and Verifone Authorized Service Contractors to grow and nurture existing business.
  • Discover business opportunities and improve sales strategies, analyze market trends, customer information and competitor data and discuss with head of sales.  
  • Proactively plan, lead, and execute regular structured sales visits, in person and on the phone, with prospects, existing customers/jobbers and Verifone Authorized Service Contractors to promote and sell our services and solutions.
  • Make presentations to existing and potential customers and make recommendation to prospect and clients on Verifone products and solutions including C-Site and Food Service.
  • Hunt and acquire new clients from competitor solutions to Verifone.
  • Understand prospects key business drivers and business issues to optimize Verifone’s positioning of services/products/solutions to address customer needs and close the sale.
  • Host regular lunch and learns with key strategic accounts in territory to keep them aware on what is new and coming.
  • Consistently and accurately document all sales activities and detail in Salesforce.  
  • Maintain a timely and accurate forecasting via Salesforce on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales quotas within the territory.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline within the assigned territory increasing leads weekly.
  • Report to head of sales of the company about on-going sales activity, pipeline and achievement metrics.  
  • Travel 50-75% of time

Qualifications:

  • Proven and distinguished track record of successful sales achievements within the petroleum industry.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence high-level stakeholders.
  • Self-Driven and proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a team.
  • Impeccable organization skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory as required.

  • The salary range for this position which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation on an annualized basis
  • The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, and credentials
