Intern - Engineering Software

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Engineering Software Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Engineering Systems Manager and team to develop and improve manufacturing systems.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop building blocks for ADAS features/algorithms

· Integrate new or modified Simulink models into the MATLAB and/or CarMaker test environment

· Create or modify test cases based on the requirements to cover the new or modified functionalities

· Debug issues found and root cause them

· Report and document issues; Propose correction to issue reported

· Perform systems testing of products on bench and in vehicles making sure the product functions and performs as the customer expects per requirements.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

· Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and willingness to learn.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

YOUR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Pursuing a Bachelor's/master’s degree in engineering or related field.

· Punctual and efficient.

· Discipline to accomplish work remotely.

· Continuous Improvement mindset

· Self-confidence to contribute fresh ideas.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
