We are looking for a hard-working Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic team. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Producing cash receipt entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable and account reconciliations
  • Reconciling bank statements and general ledgers
  • Investigating customer service & internal department queries and solving problems
  • Updating insurance information and cancellation in the source system
  • Managing client billing and amendment updates
  • Calculating monthly loan/lease payments, verifying third party calculations and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Managing account payment histories
  • Posting cash receipts and payment returns in the source system
  • Communicating with internal business partners to update void cheques, credits, refunds.
  • Terminating lease deals (buy out and default)
  • Compiling and distributing daily management reports
  • Protecting organization’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Other accounting duties that management may require

 

Skills Knowledge & Experience

  • Relevant university degree or college diploma combined with two years of work experience
  • Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, policies and procedures
  • Detail orientated, with excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Ability to produce and manage daily management reporting requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Energetic team player with ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Lease Plus, Aspire and Great Plains would be an asset
