QEA Tech conducts detailed building envelope (e.g., walls, roof, windows, doors, insulation) energy audits using drones, thermography, and proprietary AI based software. Our patented software calculates energy losses and potential savings associated with each building envelope element, preventable GHG emissions, and projected ROIs of retrofit projects. Customers can zero in on specific faults in the building envelope to make data driven retrofit decisions and capital plans that will aid in achieving their cost management and decarbonization goals. QEA Tech has audited over 500 building envelopes across North America and Europe, ranging from commercial, multi-unit residential, industrial, healthcare, and academic facilities. To date, QEA Tech has found an average of 20 metric tons of CO2e emissions savings potential per building if the building envelopes were brought up to building code. As a result of our audits, we have collected over 1 million data points on the energy performance of the building envelope.
