Lightspeed is seeking a Team Lead, Retail Sales! Reporting to the respective Sales Managers, you will be responsible for leading a pod of Account Executives to reach their goals and drive initiatives in their respective verticals. Lightspeed’s AE’s are responsible for achieving revenue growth by bringing on net-new businesses, and as Team Lead, you will drive execution in your pod.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Motivate individuals and team to exceed objectives through training and continuous coaching including but not limited to guidance, support, call evaluations and performance check-ins
  • Training current employees and new hires on processes, sales skills, and technical knowledge
  • Collaborating and maintaining communications with leadership from other departments
  • Report on pipeline metrics and other organizational tasks to our leadership team.
  • Ensure that the team metrics are in line with the organizational objectives
  • Identify problem areas/challenges within your pods verticals and formulate strategies to overcome them
  • Work with the Retail leadership team to develop new strategies to increase sales volume and efficiency, and consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by leadership.

What you’ll be bringing to the team:

  • Relevant sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in a solution-sales / technology-related environment, and 1-2 years of coaching experience is a plus.
  • Strong desire to be in technology sales leadership, and a strong technical aptitude
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills, including strong listening, verbal and written communication 
  • Strong understanding of business development best practices
  • A love of numbers: you recognize a quantitative approach to making decisions
  • A love of coaching: You enjoy helping your team members evolve in their sales career 
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic and quota-driven environment
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Open availability
  • To apply you must be in good standing within your current role

Even better if you have, but not necessary: 

  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Knowledge of Mac OS X and iOS
  • Fluency in other languages 
  • Retail experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
