What we’re looking for

As the Manager of our SMB and Mid-Market Account Executive team, you will lead a group of Account Executives focused on acquiring customers in the 1–1,000 employee segment. You will drive team sales performance, accelerate pipeline velocity, and ensure sales representatives consistently execute high-quality, customer-centric sales processes. This role requires a strong leader who can cultivate a high-performance culture while supporting team growth and enhancing customer satisfaction.

What you’ll be working on

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SMB and Mid-Market Account Executives to consistently exceed bookings targets.
  • Monitor pipeline health, deal progress, and sales activities to improve conversion rates and accelerate sales cycles.
  • Refine and implement sales processes to enhance efficiency and team performance.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback through 1:1s, call reviews, and team meetings.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, challenges, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, SDR, and Customer Success teams to strengthen customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Ensure accountability for accurate forecasting and CRM data management.
  • Engage with other sales leaders to share insights, develop leadership skills, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members to support growth.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS or B2B sales, including at least 1-2 years managing a team of Account Executives.
  • Proven success in leading sales teams to consistently meet and exceed targets in an SMB or mid-market environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and drive performance.
  • Hands-on experience with modern sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional coaching, communication, and leadership abilities, with a track record of developing high-performing sales teams.

SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution in problem-solving and decision-making. As such, you will be required to work from a SurveyMonkey office up to 1 day per week.
