Job Title:  Talent Acquisition Specialist

 

Please note: This position is 100% in-office.

 

Candidates must be able to travel internationally as required.  

 

 

 

Job Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining and developing processes to attract top talent to the organization.  Responsible for staying up on current trends and platforms to reach the target audience. This position is high volume role with ever changing requirements dependent on the needs of the organization. 

 

Responsibility

  • Manage full cycle sourcing and talent acquisition initiatives using multi-channel sourcing strategies 
  • Utilizing various channels to identify potential candidates and build a pipeline. 
  • Sourcing potential candidates on professional networks and Social Media sites. 
  • Connecting with active and passive for current vacancies and to develop a pipeline for future opportunities. 
  • Create content for Linamar Careers social channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram) 
  • Work with the team on traditional and innovative sourcing and advertising initiatives. 
  • Working closely with our Marketing team to report on digital recruitment, marketing analytics and Social Media platforms for decision making purposes. 
  • Provide advice on the most effective medium for sourcing.  
  • Attend career fairs and other sourcing events 
  • Vendor management
  • Provide backup support for recruiters to conduct interviews 
  • Projects as assigned. 

 

Academic/Educational Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in Business such as Human Resources or Marketing or equivalent education and experience.


Required Skills/Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of previous work experience as a full cycle recruiter in a fast-paced high-volume environment; manufacturing experience is preferred. 

  • Must also have proven experience and a high success rate with sourcing and researching.

  • Hands-on experience with all sourcing techniques including social platforms, Job Boards, etc.

  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Oracle would be an asset. 

  • Previous experience with digital recruitment marketing tools and analytics such as; Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Analytics, LinkedIn, and social media management platforms such as Hootsuite.

  • Experience with assessing psychometric evaluations; AVA preferred.  

  • Able to represent the company in a positive and professional manner to potential candidates. 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills, 

  • A valid driver’s license is required to attend external Career and Job Fairs.

  • Must be able to travel internationally. Travel will vary depending on needs and projects but can be for extended periods of like.

  • There is a large US focus for this position, therefore candidates must be able to travel to the US as required or reside in the US.
