MarketLead, Creator (Canada) 

Position Overview 

The Canada Creator Market Lead, Creator is responsible for leading the growth, commercial success and operational excellence of the Creator business within the Canadian market. Reporting to the Head of Creator, North America, this role is accountable for executing the North American Creator vision at the market level—driving business growth, strengthening client partnerships, leading market teams and ensuring operational excellence. 

As the senior Creator leader within the market, the Market Lead partners with SVP leaders, practice leadership and cross-functional teams to accelerate Creator adoption, unlock commercial opportunities and deliver innovative, integrated Creator solutions that drive measurable business impact. Serving as the critical link between North American strategy and market execution, this role brings the regional vision to life while providing market intelligence, client insights and emerging trends that help shape the continued evolution of the North American Creator practice. 

  

Key Responsibilities 

StrategicMarketLeadership 

  • Execute the North American Creator vision and strategy within the US market, ensuring alignment with regional priorities and business objectives. 
  • Develop and deliver annual market plans that drive commercial growth, client impact and operational excellence. 
  • Champion the Creator vision across the market, ensuring consistent adoption of regional priorities, operating standards and best practices. 
  • Identify emerging market trends, client needs and competitive opportunities, providing insights that inform the ongoing evolution of the North American Creator strategy. 
  • Partner closely with the Head of North America & Global Creator Expansion to align market priorities with regional business objectives. 

Commercial Growth & BusinessLeadership 

  • Own the commercial performance of the Creator business within the market, driving sustainable revenue growth and profitability. 
  • Build and maintain a strong commercial pipeline through proactive business development and strategic client expansion. 
  • Identify opportunities to expand Creator across market-level clients, sectors and integrated offerings. 
  • Partner with Market leads, Business Leads and Practice Chairs to unlock new business opportunities and strengthen Creator’s role within integrated client solutions. 
  • Monitor market performance and recommend strategic investments to accelerate growth. 

Leadership & Organizational Excellence 

  • Lead and inspire the Creator organization within the market, fostering a high-performing, collaborative and innovative culture. 
  • Align market leadership teams around shared business priorities and strategic objectives. 
  • Partner with SVP leaders to drive accountability, collaboration and operational excellence. 
  • Coach and develop senior Creator leaders while strengthening succession planning and future capability. 
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams, practices and North American markets. 

Client &MarketLeadership 

  • Own strategic Creator relationships across priority market-level clients, serving as the senior Creator advisor within the market. 
  • Partner with client leaders to identify opportunities to expand Creator across the client portfolio. 
  • Support executive market client conversations, business reviews and strategic planning sessions. 
  • Ensure Creator strategies deliver measurable business outcomes while advancing broader client objectives. 
  • Escalate enterprise and cross-market opportunities to the Head of North America & Global Creator Expansion where appropriate. 

Innovation & Capability Development 

  • Drive adoption of new Creator capabilities, technologies, AI-enabled solutions and ways of working across the market. 
  • Identify opportunities to evolve Creator offerings in response to changing client and industry needs. 
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement across Creator engagements. 
  • Share market learnings, case studies and best practices that strengthen the North American Creator organization. 
  • Support implementation of new methodologies, products and initiatives developed through the North American Creator strategy. 

Cross-FunctionalLeadership 

  • Build strong partnerships across Social, Earned, Paid, Strategy, Analytics, Production and other agency practices in market. 
  • Strengthen collaboration between Creator and integrated teams to maximize client impact. 
  • Develop relationships with platform partners, creator partners and key industry stakeholders within the market. 
  • Represent Creator within market leadership forums and cross-functional business planning initiatives. 
     

MarketIntelligence & ThoughtLeadership 

  • Contribute to the North American Creator thought leadership agenda through market insights, trend identification and client success stories. 
  • Collaborate with the Head of North America & Global Creator Expansion on regional thought leadership initiatives, research and industry content. 
  • Represent the Creator practice at select market-level industry events, client forums and partner engagements, reinforcing the North American Creator vision. 
  • Build relationships within the local creator ecosystem to strengthen market intelligence, identify emerging opportunities and support business growth. 
  • Elevate the agency’s Creator presence within the local market while supporting the broader North American Creator brand and positioning. 

Qualifications 

Experience 

  • 12+years of experience in Creator Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Social Media or Integrated Marketing. 
  • Demonstrated success driving commercial growth and leading strategic client relationships. 
  • Experience leading senior teams within a matrixed organization. 
  • Strong understanding of the creator economy, platform landscape and emerging technologies. 
  • Proven ability to influence across multiple disciplines and build strong executive relationships. 
  • Experience driving organizational change and capability development.
