About the team and the role:

The eBay B2C & Stores team is focused on empowering sellers with the tools, insights, and experiences they need to succeed and grow their businesses on and off eBay. Our mission is to make selling on eBay easy, efficient, and scalable by providing sellers with powerful growth tools, actionable guidance, and seamless experiences that help them reach more buyers and increase their sales velocity.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to help drive the development of seller growth capabilities that enable sellers to better market their inventory, engage buyers, and grow their sales on eBay. In this role, you will work on products and systems that help sellers convert buyer interest into transactions through intelligent tools, automation, and data-driven experiences.

You will partner closely with cross-functional teams across Search, Buyer Experience, Seller Experience, Ads, Monetization, Data Science, and Engineering to build and optimize solutions that improve seller outcomes and marketplace performance. Many of the capabilities that impact seller growth span multiple product domains, making strong collaboration and cross-team alignment essential for success.

This role is well-suited for a product manager who is highly analytical and enjoys working on data-intensive and model-driven products, partnering closely with science and engineering teams to develop and scale intelligent systems that deliver measurable marketplace impact. Success in this role will be measured by delivering data-driven improvements to seller growth tools, increasing seller adoption and engagement with key capabilities, and driving measurable impact on seller sales velocity and incremental GMV through experimentation and product optimization.

The ideal candidate combines strong product execution with analytical rigor, thrives in fast-moving environments, and brings a deep curiosity for solving complex marketplace problems. Experience in e-commerce platforms, marketplace products, experimentation-driven growth products, or AI/ML-enabled systems is preferred.

What you will accomplish:

  • Contribute to the product strategy and roadmap for seller growth capabilities that help sellers market their inventory, engage buyers, and increase sales on eBay.

  • Work closely with engineering, data science, and analytics teams to develop and improve data-driven and model-based product capabilities that optimize seller and buyer outcomes.

  • Identify opportunities to improve product performance using data analysis, experimentation, and customer insights, translating findings into clear product requirements and execution plans.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Search, Buyer Experience, Ads, Monetization, and Seller Experience to deliver cohesive solutions that improve the end-to-end marketplace experience.

  • Support the development and scaling of systems that help sellers better reach buyers, convert demand into transactions, and improve overall sales velocity.

  • Drive product execution from concept through launch and iteration, ensuring features deliver measurable improvements to seller outcomes and marketplace performance.

  • Continuously evaluate product performance, leveraging experimentation and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

  • Operate with strong ownership and accountability, contributing to high-impact initiatives while maintaining a high bar for product quality and customer experience.

 What you will bring:

  • 6+ years of product management experience, preferably within e-commerce, marketplace platforms, growth products, recommendation systems, or AI/ML-enabled platforms.

  • Experience building data-driven or optimization-based products, working closely with engineering, analytics, and data science teams to deliver impactful customer-facing solutions.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify insights, and translate them into clear product decisions and measurable outcomes.

  • Experience working with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing), ranking systems, recommendation systems, or algorithmic product features is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, data science, and analytics teams to develop and scale model-driven product capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and articulate product strategy, trade-offs, and results.

  • Customer-focused mindset, with curiosity and empathy for seller needs and a passion for building tools that help entrepreneurs grow their businesses.

  • Demonstrated ownership mentality and ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities and evolving requirements.

  • Interest in emerging technologies such as AI and automation, and how they can be applied to improve seller workflows and unlock new growth opportunities.
