About the team and the role:
The eBay B2C & Stores team is focused on empowering sellers with the tools, insights, and experiences they need to succeed and grow their businesses on and off eBay. Our mission is to make selling on eBay easy, efficient, and scalable by providing sellers with powerful growth tools, actionable guidance, and seamless experiences that help them reach more buyers and increase their sales velocity.
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and execute product strategy for key seller growth capabilities that help sellers market and grow their businesses on eBay. In this role, you will lead initiatives that enable sellers to more effectively reach buyers, optimize their performance, and unlock new growth opportunities through intelligent tools, automation, and AI-powered experiences.
You will drive product initiatives end-to-end, from identifying opportunities and defining strategy to execution and launch, while working closely with cross-functional teams across eBay including Search, Buyer Experience, Seller Experience, Ads, Shipping, Financial Services, Monetization, Trust, and beyond. Because many of the capabilities that impact seller success span multiple domains, this role requires strong product leadership, influence without authority, and the ability to navigate complex cross-team environments. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to deliver meaningful improvements in seller growth and sales velocity, drive incremental GMV across the marketplace, and successfully launch and scale seller growth capabilities through strong cross-team leadership.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving environments, demonstrates strong ownership, and is comfortable operating with ambiguity. They bring a combination of strategic thinking, relentless execution, and deep curiosity about customer problems. They are passionate about empowering entrepreneurs, challenge the status quo, and consistently push themselves and their teams to deliver better solutions for sellers. Experience in e-commerce, seller platforms, growth tools, or AI-powered product experiences is preferred.
What you will accomplish:
Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for seller growth capabilities that help sellers market, optimize, and scale their businesses on eBay.
Identify the highest-impact opportunities to improve the selling experience and accelerate seller growth by combining seller insights, marketplace data, and industry trends.
Build and launch products that simplify selling and help sellers succeed faster, including automation, intelligent recommendations, and AI-powered tools that unlock new levels of efficiency and performance.
Work across organizational boundaries to align multiple teams around shared outcomes, influencing roadmaps and driving execution even when product components sit outside your direct ownership.
Own outcomes, not just features, driving measurable improvements in incremental GMV, seller sales velocity, and seller engagement.
Operate with a strong bias for action, moving quickly from insight to execution while maintaining a high bar for quality and customer impact.
Continuously challenge existing approaches and push the organization to innovate, leveraging emerging technologies including AI and agentic selling capabilities to unlock new seller growth opportunities.
Lead complex initiatives from concept to launch, navigating ambiguity, removing blockers, and ensuring teams stay focused on delivering meaningful results.
Raise the bar for product thinking, execution, and collaboration across teams while fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
What you will bring:
8+ years of product management experience, preferably in e-commerce, marketplace platforms, seller tools, growth products, or AI-powered consumer or business platforms.
Demonstrated success building, launching, and scaling customer-facing products or platform capabilities by leading cross-functional teams across engineering, design, analytics, and business stakeholders.
Strong customer-first mindset, with a passion for understanding seller needs and building products that help entrepreneurs grow and succeed.
Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, cross-functional environments, influencing teams across multiple domains to drive alignment and deliver outcomes even when components of the solution sit outside your direct ownership.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product strategy, trade-offs, and priorities to technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using qualitative insights and quantitative data to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and measure product impact.
Demonstrated ability to move quickly from insight to execution, balancing strategic thinking with operational rigor to deliver high-quality products in fast-paced environments.
Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies such as AI and automation, and how they can be applied to simplify complex workflows and unlock new growth opportunities for sellers.
Strong ownership mentality with a track record of taking initiative, pushing through ambiguity, and delivering results that drive meaningful business outcomes.
