About you
You are a research professional that is interested in the commercial real estate space. You are a curious person with a keen eye for detail and are always learning wanting to know the most up-to-date information. You are tech savvy and always trying to find more efficient ways to complete a process or identify a new tech tool to make things simpler. You thrive on managing multiple priorities and are comfortable with shifting priorities throughout the day. You possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and are able to build strong professional relationships with others.
In this role, you will…

Prepare and assist with periodic research publications on the office real estate market in Toronto, market commentary, and various materials including presentations, market reports, white papers, as needed.

Assist in the compilation and verification of quarterly office statistics.

Monitor industry statistics and follow trends through report reading and current events and enhance/update current projects with this information.

Gather market activity by observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources and enter it into existing database and/or relevant projects

Present and summarize analytic findings, insights and recommendations via executive-level summary documents, meetings and presentations.

Lead research projects, initiatives, and rollouts. Actively participate in meetings of the research and sales teams.

Assist with the review of quality control standards for the Research team and support the research and data collection function.
What you bring
-
Undergraduate degree required. Real Estate or Business post-secondary is an asset.

3+ years’ experience in a research role in commercial real estate.

Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft 365 suites including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Experience in BI, data visualization and GIS tools would be an asset

Excellent writing and analytical skills with the ability to confidently present data and market insights to clients.

Strong analytical skills and experience using various data sources and platforms
