About Phoenix

Founded in 2019, Phoenix is building the most trusted telehealth platform in Canada, making specialist healthcare accessible to every Canadian, wherever they are. Our platform breaks down barriers to care, empowering patients to take control of their health with personalized treatment options and the guidance of licensed providers.
If you thrive where big ideas turn into real impact, you'll fit right in here. We're a team of creative problem-solvers who move deliberately and collaborate in person, because we think the best work happens that way. At Phoenix, you'll find autonomy over your work, people who care about each other's success, and a mission that's making healthcare better for Canadians.

We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to lead the creative charge across our growth and marketing initiatives. You’ll shape the visual story of Phoenix—crafting campaigns that drive performance, tell human stories, and bring our mission to life across every channel.

You’ll partner closely with our Growth, Creative, and Product teams to design bold, high-performing creative that captures attention and converts. This role blends art and strategy—where strong design intuition meets data-driven impact.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Conceptualize, design, and launch creative assets across paid, owned, and earned channels—ads, landing pages, motion graphics, and social.

  • Develop a visual language for growth campaigns that stays true to Phoenix’s brand while testing new creative directions.

  • Work hand-in-hand with Growth Marketing to turn performance insights into design strategy. You’ll understand what drives engagement, and use it to make every creative smarter.

  • Build and maintain a scalable creative library organized by product, audience, and use case.

  • Own the full lifecycle of creative—from ideation to iteration—using data to refine design decisions.

  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency, clarity, and storytelling across all touchpoints.

  • Lead creative brainstorms and contribute to campaign strategy, helping shape the direction of major launches and initiatives.

  • Mentor junior designers and guide agency partners to ensure design excellence across all external work.

  • Stay ahead of design trends, DTC marketing best practices, and emerging formats in digital storytelling.

Who You Are
  • 5+ years of experience as a visual or marketing designer, ideally within a digital-first, consumer-facing brand.

  • Deep experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Motion or web design skills are a strong plus.

  • Proven ability to blend creativity with performance—your work looks great and delivers results.

  • A storyteller at heart. You understand how design can shape emotion, clarity, and action.

  • Highly collaborative, yet confident taking initiative in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

  • Passionate about building a brand that matters—one that makes healthcare simpler, more human, and more accessible.

  • You’re passionate about improving the Canadian healthcare experience and have a personal connection to the space

Why Work at Phoenix?
  • A Rewarding Mission: Through our asynchronous care model, Phoenix is reimagining patient-centric care for Canadians across the country by making diagnoses and treatment delivery faster, more accessible, and completely discreet.

  • Impact & Autonomy: You’ll work directly with passionate, experienced leaders who’ve seen the ups and downs of building a business and genuinely care about your growth. You won’t just execute — you’ll help shape the future of Phoenix and Raven.

  • Collaborative In-Office Culture: Based in the heart of downtown Toronto, our HQ team comes together on-site five days a week to build fast and push what’s possible. We love the fast feedback loops, spontaneous brainstorms, and actually knowing the people we work with. Bonus points if you’re into the occasional foosball tournament or have strong opinions about the best lunch spot in the neighbourhood.

  • Competitive Pay, Real Benefits: Our compensation bands are backed by real market data, so offers are competitive and fair. Our benefits package includes standard healthcare coverage, a remote-first holiday season, and holistic wellbeing support — such as a wellbeing allowance and flexible additional time off to care for loved ones, support mental health, observe meaningful religious and cultural holidays, or when life just happens.

Thank you for your interest in joining the Phoenix team! While we are lucky to attract a high level of interest in each of our roles, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
