What You’ll Do:
The Senior Financial Analyst is a key contributor to the FP&A supply chain team that provides exceptional planning, analytical, and reporting support to executives. The role plays an important part in business partnering and building relationships with the Supply Chain and Transportation team, the broader Finance function and other stakeholders to understand results and provide exceptional insights. Provide excellent support to executives by preparing accurate and timely budgets and forecasts, monitoring results versus budget/ forecast, and providing a thorough analysis and investigating variances while identifying risks and opportunities with a focus on providing meaningful/actionable insights
Produce insightful, meaningful, and analytical commentary and reporting that can assist financial and non-financial stakeholders to facilitate decision making
Proactively build and improve financial models to assist with regular reporting and ad hoc analysis and help increase automation and streamlining of reports.
Manage data and data mining to translate financial data into actionable insights
Anticipate and support evolving financial performance reporting needs and work with cross functional teams to drive improvements and process changes
Become a trusted business partner to the Transportation business teams and to other finance and retail business teams
What You Bring:
University degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, or business-related discipline
Are currently pursuing or have obtained an accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
Minimum of 3-5 years in a business or financial analysis role
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Experience with building and improving financial models
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, HFM, Data visualization tools (Power BI), SQL and Supply Chain experience is an asset
Strong problem solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills; able to see the “big picture” in a complex business environment and natural curiosity to understand the reason behind transactions
Strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills with ability to articulate complex financial results and build and maintain strong relationships
Attention to detail, organized, motivated self-starter and with ability to thrive in an environment responsive to changing business requirements
Team player and open to new challenge

Broadband Salary Range: $64,000 – $106,000 CAD.
Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
