Salary range (but not limited to):
94,200 - 115,200Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
Our Senior Financial Analyst supports IT&Labs portfolio planning and governance by owning initiative-level budgeting, forecasting, actuals tracking, variance analysis, and benefits realization reporting. This role enables data-driven investment decisions through disciplined financial analysis, clear executive reporting, and strong partnership with IT and Finance stakeholders.
What you'll do here:
Support the PFR (Prioritization and funding review) and Budgeting
- Collect the various request on a monthly basis. Challenge each item and align with the finance team to ensure adequate financial impacts to the IT budget.
- Prepare appropriate executive presentations in a timely manner.
- Provide cost estimation support for new and ongoing projects.
- Track and monitor project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, and actuals
- Review and analyse resource planning and allocation to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Need to understand the portfolio movement and proactively bring visibility to financial challenges/recommendations
- Collaborate with the various IT stakeholders to manage initiative budgets.
- Develop detailed financial reports and dashboards for stakeholders and leadership.
- Analyze financial trends and variances, identifying risks and opportunities.
Benefits and Risk and Compliance Management
- Identify, assess and track financial benefits related to initiative execution.
- Provide supporting document
- Lead benefits discussion and support documentation requirements, as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with finance teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure financial alignment.
- Act as a liaison between IT stakeholders and business sponsors on various matters that are lead by the IT&Labs group.
- Communicate financial findings in a clear and actionable manner.
Process and Tools Improvement
- Enhance financial tracking processes and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Evaluate and implement financial management tools to streamline reporting and analysis.
- Support the IT & Labs team in defining and maintaining financial standards and templates.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA (preferred).
- Over 5 years of experience in financial analysis, project management finance, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial management software (SAP, Oracle,).
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, financial modeling).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a financial focus.
- Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Competencies
- High level of attention to detail and financial accuracy.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial issues.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
