Job Description
As Senior Advisor, Talent (HR) Process Optimization, you will be accountable for executing effective strategies aimed at capturing, measuring, and optimizing critical processes within Talent Solutions & Services to ensure delivery excellence. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive and deliver continuous improvement and to support the delivery of Talent programs.
Team Description
The Talent Solutions & Services team support the delivery of, and act as, first point of contact for all Talent programs and policy inquiries. The team delivers continuous improvement to processes and facilitates policy/program enhancements with a view of digital experience and operational efficiency.
Accountabilities:
- Provide subject-matter-expertise and advisory support to colleagues within and outside Talent on increasingly more difficult matters.
- Oversee and influence end-to-end journeys within area of responsibility, facilitates discussions with internal/ external stakeholders and drives best solutions aligned with business needs and priorities.
- Independently lead enhancements to our Talent systems and operations, including support for definition of business requirements and user acceptance testing activities. Has a continuous improvement mindset and looks to optimize Talent systems and processes by evaluating our current and desired business processes/rules and system capabilities.
- Identify and lead processes and system changes required to improve Talent operational processes in the context of overall workforce management and analytics needs; understands and manages the end-to-end flow of Talent processes and data across multiple systems and functions.
- Partner with Centres of Excellence/Talent Business Partners to inform policy and program decisions to ensure processes are simplified and scalable.
- Actively manage external partners to ensure employee and organizational needs are met and services delivered are aligned with set expectations.
- Leverage data and other insights to drive high levels of advisory within area of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or college diploma in related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience (e.g. process mapping and optimization)
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
- Proficiency and passion for lean methodology, tools and business process improvement, and continuous improvement principles.
- Experience with key market HR systems is required (e.g. ServiceNow, Workday, ADP, SmartRecruiters, etc)
- Fluency across the MS Office product suite is required with excellent Excel skills.
- Analytical mindset, comfortable with handling large sets of data and extracting insights from it.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with proven ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to foster collaborative working relationships at all levels internally and with external partners.
- Ability to identify opportunities, take the initiative and think through future implications.
- Drives medium complexity projects independently, driving success through aligning outcomes to corporate strategy and priorities while ensuring the outcomes create a positive employe experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and advisory skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
