We are looking for Intermediate Project Manager and Scrum Master for our Data & Dynamcis Team to be based out of our Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton or Calgary branch. You will work proactively with our clients to identify opportunities, scope problems and co-create potential solutions that solve business problems. Your strong communication and coordination skills will promote a high functioning team environment by managing expectations and adapting to stakeholders’ preferred project management methods.

A Day in the Life:

  • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders, developers, technical team members and designers
  • Coordinate with the product owner or product manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the project roadmap and Azure boards
  • Act as Scrum Master, ensuring the development team is working effectively, clearing obstacles, and leading scrum ceremonies
  • Elicit project requirements by meeting with a variety of stakeholders from the C-suite to end users
  • Ensure the functional requirements are tracked, achievable, and met
  • Set up project with right ticket workflows and boards
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, s ensuring they are brief, focused, and timely
  • Schedule and run the sprint planning and grooming meetings and track ticket assignments
  • Manage Scrum artifacts
  • Promote a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear or judgment, with an emphasis on problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Keep the development teams accountable to deadlines and targets
  • Manage the release cycles for multiple products
  • Monitor and report on sprint progress and deliverables through metrics and retrospectives
  • Support and encourage the team to make decisions, get help when needed, and take ownership of their commitments
  • Act as a funnel point for information transfer to minimize distractions and interferences

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Scrum or Agile methodologies
  • Strong technical capabilities with broad experience in software development and/or enterprise infrastructure
  • Effective interpersonal skills including experience with mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles and tool sets and test automation
  • Experience facilitating daily Scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings
  • Scrum Master Certified
  • ITIL Certification
