Ribbon Communications is looking for a technical project manager to oversee and coordinate projects in a software development environment, from idea to launch, covering planning, requirements, development, testing, and deployment readiness. You will collaborate with the project stakeholders, Product Line Managers, R&D, and the deployment teams to ensure that the projects satisfy the quality, resourcing, and timeline requirements. You will track and report on the projects’ status, risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans. Ribbon Communications has a diverse product portfolio across multiple layers, from platform to applications. This position will entail managing projects within the Platforms, Management, Analytics and Automation Portfolio, with the possibility to extend to other products in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the technical scope, schedule, resources of the projects, and ensure alignment with the project objectives and expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with the project stakeholders, and provide regular updates on the project status, milestones, deliverables, and issues.
  • Facilitate the collaboration and coordination among the R&D team members, and ensure that they have the necessary tools, resources, and guidance to perform their tasks.
  • Review and validate the technical deliverables, such as design documents, test plans, test results, security plans, training to ensure that they meet the quality standards and the specifications.
  • Identify, analyze, and manage the project risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalate them to the appropriate level when necessary.
  • Implement and enforce the project management methodologies, processes, and best practices, and ensure compliance with the organizational policies and procedures.
  • Conduct retrospectives, lessons learned sessions, and document and share the project outcomes, feedback, and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Technical experience working in a software development and/or testing role.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing complex technical projects that span more than one dev/scrum team.
  • Strong knowledge and experience managing projects with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse and remote teams.
  • Proven problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, and ability to handle complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA) , Confluence , MS-Office tools  , Eazy/Power BI, is a plus 
  • Experience / Knowledge with A.I. tools, is a plus
  • Certification in project management, such as PMP, is a plus.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD is a plus
