A Day in the Life:
-Attend meetings to gather and provide information of project kick-offs, pre-production, weekly scheduling and client consultant shop inspection.
-Coordinate performance mock-ups and visual mock-ups.
-Coordinate with Project Managers on material consumption, left over counts and orders
-Document Control of show drawings, fabrication releases, test reports, assembly/installation instructions.
-Assist with maintaining control of shop work orders and purchase orders.
-Produce and monitor skidding and shipping schedules.
-Production release processing to optimize material.
-Review frame metal drawings for errors and omissions.
-Prepare BOM for scope of work.
-Ensure all required materials are procured and available to meet schedule.
-Coordinate production with Glazing department for any/all parts required for the Metals production.
-Daily material status to the Metals Production team.
-Review Quality Assurance reports and reorders.
-All other duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
-Minimum 2 years experience with manufacturing coordination processes
-AutoCAD and Bluebeam experience.
-Completion of a Post Secondary degree/diploma in civil ,mechanical or industrial engineering.
-Ability to read and understand shop/fabrication drawings.
-Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-Strong communication skills.
-Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
