About the role

LexisNexis Canada is looking for a Pricing Specialist to develop pricing strategies to customers' needs while providing a profit for the organization. Designs, implements and maintains pricing infrastructures. Evaluates effectiveness of pricing strategies and modifies pricing structures as needed. Provides reporting and documentation of pricing structures and serves as the point-of-contact for pricing inquiries from internal sales department, but not customers.

Responsibilities:

· Developing pricing strategies to meet customers' needs while providing a profit for the organization

· Determining core business costs of service in support of pricing tariff development

· Designing, implementing, and maintaining pricing infrastructures

· Evaluating effectiveness of pricing strategies and modifying pricing structures as needed

· Providing reports and documentation of pricing structures

· Serving as the point-of-contact for pricing inquiries from internal Sales departments, but not customers

Requirements:

· Have great interpersonal skills with the ability to explains difficult or sensitive information

· Have expereince resolving problems using existing solutions

· Be able to provide informal guidance to junior staff and be a resource for colleagues with less experience

· Be aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the market

· Have knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others

· Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services

· Possess in-depth knowledge, experience, and conceptual and practical expertise in own area

Base Pay Range for primary location in Ontario is $75,100-$125,100(CAD). Base Pay Range in Ontario is $71,500 - $119,100 (CAD). This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
