About the role

LexisNexis Canada is looking for a Pricing Analyst that will develop pricing strategies to meet customers' needs while providing a profit for the organization. Determines core business costs of service in support of pricing/tariff development. Designs, implements and maintains pricing infrastructures. Evaluates effectiveness of pricing strategies and modifies pricing structures as needed. Provides reporting and documentation of pricing structures and serves as the point-of-contact for pricing inquiries from internal sales department, but not customers.

Responsibilities:

· Responding to pricing inquiries and guiding decision-making by developing a deep knowledge of our product

· Collecting, analyzing, and reconciling discrepancies between data, documents, and information in order to create initial proposals

· Collaborating with internal teams to secure renewal targets, understand upsell paths, and defend against price reductions

· Assisting Segment Managers with deal approval by providing pricing guidance, bench marking data, and confirming selling rules

· Completing the Business terms in contracts and coordinating contract modifications with Segment, Sales, and Legal teams

· Responding to transactional pricing and cost recovery questions

· Analyzing pricing data and making recommendations to more senior level roles to influence pricing strategy

Requirements:

· Have the ability to manage deadlines and balance competing priorities

· Be able to work as part of a team to accomplish mutual team goals

· Have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage large sets of information and data

· Demonstrate an ability to solve routine problems

· Display excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Demonstrate solid mathematical aptitude and comfort with numbers

· Have a Bachelors degree in Economics, Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience

Base Pay Range for primary location in Ontario is $62,000-$103,300(CAD). Base Pay Range in Ontario is $59,100 - $98,400 (CAD). Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
