The Opportunity

Are you an individual with strong communication skills, and even stronger data warehouse knowledge as well as the ability to work? If so, then this is the opportunity for you! This is an opportunity to join a growing global company and to show your expertise in verifying data and extracting information within systems.


What you will do:

  • Takes a key role in participating in data development efforts within the Pricing Centre; collaborates on special projects to support processes and operations through effective use of technology and standard operating procedures.
  • Utilize data-based processes to pull, track and distribute improved data for Weekly Price Maintenance Tools. Must keep this process on schedule.
  • Perform price matrix analysis to support market/customer changes, promotions and private label initiatives.
  • Support data quality and logic of internal or external Optimization tools as these tools roll-out.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment utilizing strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Responds to external inquiries for information, creates reports to support quality data output and to provide management information, generates ongoing routine reports as well as ad-hoc reports when needed.
  • Work overtime as needed. Time will be compensated.

What you will bring:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access at an advanced level.
  • Familiarity with database tools and concepts applied via Microsoft Access.
  • Analytical skills using data based statistical concepts.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and process oriented.
  • Experience in Wholesale Distribution as it relates to Plumbing, Hvacr, WW, Industrial.
  • Knowledge of AS400 system would be an asset.
  • Experience with Tableau would be an asset.
  • Experience with KNIME would be an asset.
  • Fluency in both French and English would be an asset.

Base Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 + 5% MIP

Where a salary range is posted, the total compensation range posted for this role represents the total compensation opportunity, which may include base wage, bonuses, commissions, and/or other monetary components, if applicable.  Placement in the range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, candidate experience, skills and qualifications relevant to the role. 


Benefits eligibility varies based on employment status and contract length. Full-time permanent positions are eligible for the full benefits package.
