Who You Will Work With: 

The Senior Project Manager will report to the Product Enablement Services, Lead and will be accountable for the end‑to‑end planning, coordination, and execution of business and operational readiness activities required to support a successful Fraud go‑live.

This role partners closely with Technology, Product, Risk, Legal, Audit, Compliance, Business Continuity, Fraud Operations, and PMO teams to ensure all readiness criteria are met, risks and dependencies are actively managed, and senior leadership has clear, timely visibility into go‑live preparedness and decision points.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for driving disciplined planning, rigorous execution, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure operational and business outcomes are achieved seamlessly, enabling the organization to confidently proceed to go‑live.

What You Will Do:  

1. Go‑Live & Business Readiness

  • Lead the execution of Fraud go‑live readiness across business workstreams primarily comprising of Risk, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Business Continuity, Training and Fraud Operations.

  • Facilitate readiness planning, tracking, and execution. Lead coordination of end‑to‑end operational readiness activities for Fraud capabilities.

  • Ensure all readiness criteria including required documentation are clearly defined, validated, and met prior to go‑live approval.

  • Track regulatory and audit commitments through to closure.

  • Oversee training readiness for impacted operational and support teams.

  • Support go‑live decision‑making by providing clear, evidence‑based readiness assessments to senior leadership.

2. Planning & Delivery Management

  • Develop and maintain an integrated business operational readiness plan aligned to program milestones and release timelines leveraging Jira and MPP.

  • Continuously manage plan changes, reprioritization, and re‑baselining as risks or dependencies evolve.

  • Ensure alignment between business readiness, operational readiness, and technology delivery plans.

3. Status Management & Executive Reporting

  • Provide regular and effective status reporting on readiness progress, risks, and critical path items.

  • Prepare leadership‑level dashboards, summaries, and decision logs.

  • Clearly articulate go‑live risks, blockers, and required actions or decisions.

  • Ensure consistency of messaging across governance forums and executive stakeholders.

  • Drive adherence to standard project and portfolio management practices.

4. RAID Management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)

  • Own and maintain the RAID log, ensuring risks and issues are clearly articulated, mitigated, and tracked for business readiness.

  • Proactively identify readiness risks, particularly those related to business readiness for go-live.

  • Drive issue resolution and escalate appropriately when risk tolerance thresholds are exceeded.

  • Identify, track, and manage cross‑team and cross‑program dependencies impacting Fraud readiness.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to secure commitments and delivery timelines.

  • Proactively escalate dependency risks and propose mitigation or resolution strategies.

What You Bring: 

  • 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably within financial services, AML or fraud domains.

  • Familiarity with business continuity, compliance, audit, legal and regulatory approval processes.

  • Proven experience leading go‑live readiness for complex, cross‑functional initiatives under tight timelines.

  • Strong understanding of business readiness, operational readiness, and regulatory requirements.

  • Hands-on experience working with enterprise tools such as Jira, MPP & Planview.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and executive‑level communications.

  • Key competencies: Decisive, strong in planning with proven track record of successful execution and results driven go-getter attitude.

  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.

The hiring range for this position is $100K-120K and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, but Interac’s commitment goes beyond compensation.
