About World Business Lenders (

World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding.

This is a Contract/Consultant position. Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements.

The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and timely process the company's payroll.
  • Develop, implement, and manage payroll-related policies, procedures, controls, and formulating recommendations for improvements.
  • Liaise with ADP regarding payroll-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Reconcile payroll/accounts ledger with the accounting department.
  • Communicate with managers and staff and train them on payroll-related matters, particularly the ADP Workforce Now time and attendance system and employee dashboard.
  • Assist with employee benefits, including 401(k) plan implementation, enrollment, and management.
  • Coordinate with the Human Resources department regarding data collection, maintenance, security, and integrity.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • +3-4 years of proven experience with payroll applications, reporting tools, and software, including time and attendance systems; ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
  • Experience in US payroll and benefits.
  • Leadership experience.
  • ADP experience.
  • Experience with Deel.
  • Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree or payroll-related certifications, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong teamwork ethic.
  • Self-motivated with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and coordinate projects and manage a large volume of detailed tasks.
