About World Business Lenders ()

World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding.


This is a Contract/Consultant position. Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. Resumes must be submitted in English.

This position in 100% remote.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
  • Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather and analyze financial information.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiencies in financial reporting processes.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar preferred.
  • Experience working with SQL, Power BI, Python preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required; Teams experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Proactive approach and strong work ethic
  • Excellent attention to detail
