Role Summary:
The Network Administrator manages the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our global corporate network, both on-premises and in the cloud. The Network Administrator participates in day-to-day operations, collaborates closely with the Security Network Engineer to ensure the network's security and efficiency.
Role Responsibilities:
- Network Maintenance and Optimization: Monitor, maintain, and optimize the performance of the corporate network and Wi-Fi systems across multiple global locations.
- Security Collaboration: Work closely with the Security Network Engineer to implement and maintain robust security measures, ensuring the network is protected against threats.
- VPN Deployment: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of virtual private networks across the organization to ensure secure remote access for employees.
- Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure seamless connectivity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize network monitoring tools to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with network hardware and software vendors to ensure the timely procurement and maintenance of network equipment and services.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in network management and security and proactively suggest enhancements to existing systems.
- Providing support outside normal hours of work
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in network administration or a similar role.
- Proficiency with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, WIFI, and VPNs.
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE4, or similar are highly desirable.
- Occasional travel required to meet the responsibilities of the position
- May be required to work extra after hours

Compensation & Benefits
- The Compensation Range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. If the compensation structure for the role includes an incentive component (i.e. most Sales roles) the range below represents total target compensation (TTC) (base salary + variable).
