The role


The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for overseeing the effective use of Salesforce and Pardot to execute comprehensive marketing campaigns, ensuring seamless system integration for targeted outreach, optimized lead nurturing, and the continuous enhancement of marketing strategies through actionable insights.


The primary goals include implementing and optimizing marketing automation strategies to drive engagement and conversion through email campaigns and lead nurturing programs. Additionally, the role involves maintaining data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards while managing CRM databases and marketing automation platforms. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to aligning marketing efforts with business objectives, ultimately enhancing overall campaign performance and contributing to increased Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot) to execute marketing campaigns including email, lead nurturing, and scoring programs.
  • Implement and maintain integrations between marketing automation and CRM systems (ChiliPiper, Pardot, Salesforce) to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including template design, calls-to-action, and support in content creation.
  • Segment and manage contact lists and databases for targeted marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, and Business Systems to ensure alignment on marketing automation processes and objectives.
  • Provide reporting and insights on key marketing metrics, such as lead generation, conversion rates, website traffic, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in marketing automation and operations.
  • Work closely with the Event Marketing Team to support in promoting the event, uploading attendee information, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Manage the import of third-party data into CRM and marketing automation systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Provide campaign briefs to the Sales and Marketing teams, so they are prepared to follow up the MQLs with relevant information.

Desired Skills, Education & Experience:

  • At last 2-3 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Automation, Email Marketing, or Lifecycle roles, ideally in a SaaS or Enterprise software for a B2B high-tech company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred.
  • Strong experience with Pardot and Salesforce, ChiliPiper, Drift, or similar marketing tech stack tools.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with other enterprise-level marketing automation (Marketo, Hubspot) will be considered. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to easily adapt and change course in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated success in effectively driving results.
  • Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
