We are seeking a motivated Marketing Associate in Canada to support the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives for a growing upper extremity product portfolio. In this highly collaborative role, you will partner closely with Product Managers to drive annual marketing plans, coordinate product launches, develop sales and marketing materials, analyze market and performance data, and help bring innovative products to market. This position offers excellent exposure to both the commercial and clinical sides of the business, including field visits, customer interactions, and opportunities to gain firsthand insight into surgeon and sales force needs.

This role requires in-office work with some opportunity to be hybrid, travel will be 30%.

What you will do:

  • Subject matter expert for applicable products / product lines and able to field technical questions

  • Supports the on-label use and promotion of all products

  • Solves product problems for sales team / customers in an expeditious fashion

  • Coordinates with key stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met accurately and on time

  • Assesses business/sales trends and communicates with key IBP stakeholders as directed by the marketing team

  • Understands a PLCM plan

  • Supports the creation of the marketing plan and collaborates in the development of key strategic initiatives

  • Partners with the marketing team to develop a communications approach for the product or portfolio

  • Applies market data, uses planning tools, and seeks expert opinions when analyzing marketing strategies

  • Understands the different marketing channel strategies and associated business implications

  • Understands key competitors and their relative strengths/weaknesses

  • Identifies customer needs / preferences and provides customer feedback to marketing leadership

  • Prioritizes marketing initiatives based on product or portfolio goals and metrics

  • Incorporates new products into ongoing sales / medical education curriculum

  • May assist in the training and development of sales personnel

  • Has a working knowledge of pricing strategy and maintenance of a product / portfolio margin

  • Tracks and reports results / KPIs to leadership and sales

  • Understands basic budget management principles and supports the achievement of a budget target

  • Assists in the preparation and operation of trade shows, regional and national sales meetings

  • Supports presentations to leaders, sales, and customers

  • May assist in the training and development of sales personnel

 

What you will need:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 0-1 year related work experience required

Preferred:

  • Marketing experience preferred
  • Med device experience preferred
  • Educational background or coursework in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, or a related life sciences field preferred

  


Canada Pay Ranges:

  • Canada: $62,600 - $83,450 CAD Annual

  


Travel Percentage: 30%
