About The Team

The Strategy team is a trusted partner that helps to shape strategy, set priorities, and deliver key strategic initiatives. Working cross-functionally across the business, the team leverages structured problem-solving and quantitative and qualitative analysis to address complex challenges, inform decision-making, and translate ideas into impact. This role reports to the , and works out of the Rogers Centre, onsite.

Responsibilities 

  • Implement organizational strategy and performance by:
    • Implementing strategy, delivering priorities, and defining success measures
    • Supporting strategic planning and the development of execution roadmaps
    • Identifying and assessing opportunities and trends to improve performance
    • Measuring and tracking progress to inform decision-making
  • Work cross-functionally to solve important business challenges by:
    • Ensuring a common understanding of goals and objectives 
    • Supporting the development of robust approaches that enable successful execution
    • Building strong relationships across the organization and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders
    • Soliciting involvement and input from both internal and external parties
  • Deliver strategic initiatives by:
    • Taking initiatives from concept through implementation
    • Structuring problems, framing opportunities, and analyzing options
    • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, research, and stakeholder engagement to support decision-making
    • Preparing executive-level materials and gaining alignment on next steps 
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Strategy Team by:
    • Contributing new tools, frameworks, and best practices to build effectiveness
    • Playing an active role in the development of a high-performing team culture
    • Staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Qualifications 

  • 1-3 years' experience in strategy consulting, an internal corporate strategy function, investment banking, or a related high-performance field
  • Structured problem-solving ability in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
  • Ownership mindset with experience independently leading workstreams and/or deliverables
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, including financial modeling and business case analysis
  • Able to effectively communicate complex concepts to an executive audience
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the business and manage relationships to deliver outcomes
  • Team player with a willingness and curiosity to push past assigned work 
  • Legally able to work in Canada 
  • MBA or other post-graduate degree is considered an asset, but not required
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

    Salary: The anticipated base compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000. Actual base pay offered within this range may differ based on a range of factors, including individual experience, education, skills, and organizational needs.  

    In addition to your base compensation, you will enjoy discretionary bonus opportunities, vacation entitlements, a comprehensive benefits package, and front‑office perks that reflect the excitement and community of working in baseball.
