Hours: 35 hours
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000

The Manager, Brand role is a full-time position within the Marketing team The incumbent candidate will play a critical role in enabling The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation to achieve awareness, acquisition and engagement objectives in the GTA and beyond through multifaceted marketing & communications activities.

The successful candidate will help us build the funnel of our donor base. To do this, we will require a project manager with proven creative campaign experience, from plan to outstanding creative and execution, across all donor touch-points.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with Marketing team to provide support in the planning, development and execution of marketing and communications programs that will help achieve the objectives of the Foundation
  • Work with creative and media agency partners to deliver impactful, breakthrough creative communications in support of our ambitious awareness and acquisition goals
  • Manage external agency partner relationships, ensuring exceptional communication and collaboration among partners
  • Reporting and analysis of campaign activity 
  • Work collaboratively with our internal Creative team to ensure communication and message consistency is carried throughout all our touch-points
  • Provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to the Marketing Coordinator, Brand & Digital

Qualifications

  • University, college degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications or Business preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in Marketing & Communications, preferably 2 years experience managing direct report(s)
  • Agency or client-side (B2C) experience, along with experience in non-profit fundraising preferred
    • If client-side, experience working with advertising and media agency partners is a must
  • Highly skilled at project management including the development and detailed oversight of workback schedules, management of integrated status reports, budget tracking, etc.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the project execution of marketing and communications activities
  • Exceptional brief-writing skills, with a proven ability to unleash and guide the creative potential of agency partners
  • Strong understanding of consumer or donor segmentation, with experience identifying and creating segments and executing targeted plans and creative communications relevant to each donor audience
  • Proven demonstration of achieving significant business KPIs (be it sales targets, growth objectives, awareness levels, etc.)
  • Experience with marketing analytics, reporting tools, and turning data into actionable insights
  • Experience managing people, demonstrating mentorship, training and development preferred
  • Proactive self-starter who works collaboratively but is also comfortable initiating projects and working autonomously
  • Known for your outstanding problem-solving, efficiency, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing budgets
